Pittsburgh Citations and Violation Defense Attorneys

The summer months offer an opportunity to attend sporting events and concerts in Pittsburgh’s outdoor venues. In addition to visiting the outdoor attractions, the use of the three rivers around Pittsburgh add to the summer festivities in town.

At a recent concert held at Heinz Field on Pittsburgh’s North Shore, some of the activities may have gotten out of hand for a few visitors. The Pittsburgh Police reported 73 people were arrested or cited in or around Heinz Field. The Pennsylvania State Police also cited 43 minors for underage drinking violations in the surrounding parking lots.

Some of the violations that were cited are assaults including an indecent assault in the stadium concourse, public urination, disorderly conduct, underage drinking, drunken driving, ticket scalping and a robbery.

The day left some concert-goers with legal problems that can have devastating effects on their lives. A drunk driving charge can lead to drivers license suspensions and fines. The minors that were cited for underage drinking will also face a possible suspension of their driving privileges and possibly a criminal record.

If you or a family member or friend were cited for any of the above mentioned charges, seek the criminal defense lawyers at Joyce & Bittner to help guide you through your recent legal matters. Call us at 412-281-9919 or 1-800-299-5530 to get help NOW!
